The series has a carrier-grade high-reliability design that includes dual Main Processing Unit (MPU) backup, Hot Standby (HSB), Non-Stop Routing (NSR), and Graceful Restart, among other features (GR). Unauthorized software is prevented from execution using a hardware-based software integrity check method, resulting in a secure network foundation.
