The Access Controller is configured with WPA-WPA2 and CCMP +PSK security policy but users are not being prompted for a password when they connect on the SSID.
This problem can appear in the case where the AP version does not coincide with the AC version even though the configuration is correctly made.
In this situation we need to check if the the AC and the AP are using the same software version. We can do this by using the following commands:
Display version //shows version of the AC
Display ap all //shows if the AP are in normal state or ver-mismatch state
Display ap-common-info all //shows the version of the AP
If the software version is not the same on the AP and AC, upgrade the devices to the same software version.
The problem can usually appear if the AC is running V200R005C10SPCxxx, while the AP is running V200R005C00SPCxxx
