There is something magical about this book. It binds and brings one closer to life while reading. Amazing read!!

War and PeaceRussian author Leo Tolstoy, first published serially, then published in its entirety in 1869. It is regarded as one of Tolstoy's finest literary achievements and remains an internationally praised classic of world literature.The novel spans the period from 1805 to 1820. The era of Catherine the Great was still fresh in the minds of older people. Catherine had made French the language of her royal court. For the next 100 years, it became a social requirement for the Russian nobility to speak French and understand French culture.

I recently completed A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

It was a moving tale of two women and all the hardships they had to endure. Glamour rightly quotes about this book, "Only the hardest of hearts could fail to be moved".

I had read Hosseini's, The Kite Runner, before, So I was expecting similar stuff.

But A Thousand Splendid Suns was much more devastating. In the end, I almost rushed through it because it was too much suffering and pain.

But it does open your eyes to the reality of the world. And what a privileged life we are leading.

This is one of the most important books I’ve read, and the one that I have recommended the most.

The plot is very nice and emotional book shows a heart touching story the pain which parents suffer and how much they sacrifice ,

I love the authentic description how parents have to deal with problem and they do so much for their children's.

I love the story and book cover perfectly goes with the story .

Writing style is lucid and easy to read it's all about family and love , and if you want to unfold the further story read the book , u will know how beautiful story is .
