Hi, everyone
I've actually read this book and very enjoyed reading it.
To begin with, we're all at least IT professionnals or Students, so I think it's important to know which kind of world will be shaped by Technology (AI, bio engineering, nano technology, robotic) in the years or centuries ahead.
Yuval Noah Harari, try to anwers this question throughout the book.
For Example, in the middle age, it was the holy scriptures that gave meaning to our life(whom we must marry, what's beatiful and so a on).Today, we live in an era of big data, so we rely more on Google Map than on our gut instant to go somewhere.
Finnally, he invites us not take he's word for the absolute truth but rather what humans might try to achieve by 2100 (like immortality, everlasting happiness) since we have won the fight against war, plague, famine.
I really recommend you to read this book if you haven't yet.
