1. Thank you for accepting our invitation! If someone would have told you that you’d end up choosing the ICT path, would you have believed them?
Surely, I would believe him. ICT path is a journey that never ends with lots of challenges which need to be experienced. If I stopped now or didn’t choose it, I would lose my chance to join this awesome world.
2. The technical field is traditionally perceived as being a male-dominated one. Would you say that you’ve ever encountered any gender stereotypes? If yes, how did you manage them?
I had faced a challenge to lead a project related to themes such as technology & saving the environment. Mostly, in any project related to embedded system we noticed that women don't have an important role or maybe their responsibilities are negligible. When a woman leads a project, she will face a lot of objections. I was managing those challenges by starting to plan a total vision on how we could have finished our project. By setting the schedule & producing results for the project, step by step, this lead to the creation of new objectives & high satisfaction. After I finished reaching the goal that I had set in front of me every day, it was a very satisfying for me when I saw people amazed with this project. Honestly, I faced a lot of challenges, but I made sure to assess them, change the strategy and reshape the goals in order to face the next steps. All of those challenges taught me that if I will decide to continue the route of achievement, I will never quit, regardless of all the hardships I encounter.
3. Why women need technology and technology needs women?
Women need technology because it’s a journey that should be experienced. She will learn awesome things, meet experts, face a lot of technical cases, upgrade her knowledge level. As time passes by, she will become an expert in her field.
