WLAN V200R003&V200R005 Typical Configuration Examples-Example for Loading a License File

Procedure

1. Obtain the license file.

   # You must first apply for a license file. For details, see the License Application Guide.

2. Load the license file.
   NOTE:

   This example uses an AC6605 as the AC device.
   1. Configure the AC6605 as the FTP server.

      # Configure the AC6605 as the FTP server, set the FTP user name to ftpuser, the password to ftppwd, and the FTP working directory to flash:/.

      NOTE:

      On the AC6005, the FTP directory is sdcard:/. Change the local-user ac ftp-directory flash: command in the following configuration to local-user ac ftp-directory sdcard:.

   2. Upload the license file from the PC to the AC6605.

      # Store the license file in the specified directory (for example, D:\>directory). Choose Start > Run, enter cmd, and press Enter.

      C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> d:
      D:\> ftp 192.168.10.2    // Management IP address of the AC6605

   3. Check whether the license file is loaded.

3. Activate the license file.

   # After a license file is loaded to the device, you must activate the license file; otherwise, the license does not take effect.

4. Verify the configurations.

   # Run the display license state command to check the license state. The state of a commercial license is Normal, and the state of a non-commercial license is Demo or Trial.
