Symptom
At a site, a power strip is used to supply power to multiple AD9430DN-24s in the weak-current well equipment room. The power strip is fully loaded and cascaded. As a result, the total power of the APs exceeds the rated power of the power strip, and the available power is insufficient.
Fault Location
Considering the power grid fluctuation, one 16 A power strip can supply power to a maximum of five AD9430DN-24s, and one 10 A power strip can supply power to a maximum of three AD9430DN-24s. If the number of AD9430DN-24s exceeds the maximum, the available power may be insufficient.
Solution
Redesign the power supply in the equipment room to ensure that the available power of the power strip is sufficient for APs.

The power supply of APs is important during AP installation. Sufficient power supply is the prerequisite for ensuring the normal operation of APs. During power supply deployment, ensure normal power supply of APs. At some sites, the equipment room environment of the weak-current well is harsh. In most cases, power strips are used to supply power to APs. In this case, avoid cascading of power strips. If this cannot be avoided, it is recommended that the available power of power strips be higher than the rated power of power strips.
