Sometimes when we configure wlan, there are too many templates to configure, leading to some businesses not configuring. So the following configuration steps are recommended
1.Configure connections between the AP, AC, and upstream device.
This part is the connection of the intermediate network, such as the edge port, PVID vlan, service VLAN and so on. It also needs to consider that AC and AP are two or three layers.
2.Configure the AC to function as a DHCP server to assign IP addresses to the STAs and APs.
In addition to AC, DHCP servers can also be routers or core switches. But another problem is that if AC and AP are three-tier interoperability, you also need to add option 43 to DHCP allocation.
3.Configure a VLAN pool for service VLANs.
4.Configure the APs to go online.
5.Create an AP group and add APs that require the same configuration to the group for unified configuration.
6.Configure AC system parameters, including the country code and source interface used by the AC to communicate with the APs.
7.Configure the AP authentication mode and import the APs offline to allow the APs to go online.
8.Configure WLAN service parameters for STAs to access the WLAN.
