This post is about the process of WLAN AP and AC version mismatch troubleshooting. Please have a look below.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION
A customer has an AP in FIT mode and it is connected to an AC. Although AC can identify the AP, the configurations made in the AC are not applied in AP.

Also found the following logs indicating a version mismatch:

However, which version is the correct one? You can apply the following command to verify the current version and the compatible ones:

ROOT CAUSE
The AP version is not compatible with AC.
SUGGESTIONS
1. Upgrade/downgrade the AP to a supported version using the following guide:
https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1000183775.
2. Upgrade/downgrade the AC (this is not recommended, as usually ACs have several APs connected so this workaround that can affect other APs).
3. Replace the AP with another one using compatible versions.
