Hello, everyone!
Today, I would like to share with you a summary on the various wireless communication generations .
We've achieved significant advancements in wireless communication, and our wireless communication system's capabilities have been greatly enhanced. In our lives, we have all witnessed numerous generations. Let's take a look at each one separately.
1st Generation - 1G :
In mobile systems, first-time calling was introduced.
Analog signals were employed.
It employed an FDD system with a typical bandwidth of 25 Mhz.
The coverage area was limited.
There is no roaming across the different operators.
Sound quality is poor.
Speed :- 24 kbps.
2nd Generation - 2G :
The analog to digital transition has been completed.
Both voice and SMS were supported.
All four sectors of the wireless business were supported, including digital cellular, mobile data, PCS, and WLAN.
Mobile data service that is moderate.
The 2G WLAN provides a high data throughput and a vast coverage area.
Speed :- 64 kbps.
2.5G followed 2G, which employed the GPRS principle. Streaming and mail services were also established.
Then came 2.75G, or EDGE, which was faster than 2.5G at providing services. It provided a faster internet connection of up to 128kbps and utilised an edge connection.
3rd Generation - 3G :
The internet system has been upgraded.
Better capacity and system.
Provides high-speed wireless internet access.
UMTS and WCMA were utilized as connections.
Speed :- 2mbps.
4th Generation - 4G :
Protocols that are based on IP.
Long-term evaluation (LTE) was designed primarily for internet use.
Vo-LTE (Voice over LTE) is a voice and internet technology.
With affordable QOS, you have the freedom and flexibility to choose any service you choose.
Usability is excellent.
Supports multimedia broadcasting at a minimal cost.
Streaming in high definition.
Speed :-100mbps.
5th Generation - 5G :
Many countries are still waiting for 5G to arrive, but here are some key issues to consider.
Data rates are higher.
The internet will be faster and more secure.
Data latency will be drastically decreased.
Network capacity is enormous.
Its speed is 30 times that of 4G.
The network would have more flexibility.
