At an office site, can not through the SSH tool of Windows XP host connect to the Linux system of virtual machine.

Handling Process
1, ensure IP is in the same network segment.
2, check whether the virtual machine network adapter connection is correct, and find it used NAT model, translate to bridging model, IP can ping pass.
3, SSH is still unable to connect, check the system - administrator - services of virtual machine, the background of the service configuration start SSHD. At last check that the connection is successful.
Root Cause
1, To ensure IP is in the same network segment, both ends fail to ping pass, then need to check whether the network adapter Settings is correct.
2, It is also possible that the virtual machine SSHD service has not open.
