Hello, everyone!
As a supplement to the ONT basic knowledge, I begin to introduce a series of basic Wi-Fi knowledge.
Today, I will share knowledge about Wi-Fi connection modes.

Wi-Fi can be connected in 2 modes: Wi-Fi Protection Access (WPA) and Wi-Fi Protected Setup(WPS).
1. WPA is the most common Wi-Fi connection mode. In this mode, you can search for Wi-Fi names on a user terminal (smartphone, PC, or tablet) and enter a Wi-Fi password.
2. WPS simplifies Wi-Fi network encryption. WPS can automatically configure a network name (SSID) and a WPA security key. It enables secure connections without the need of memorizing passwords.
WPS can be implemented in modes: push button configuration (PBC), Pin input configuration (PIN), and AP PIN.
PBC: Press a WPS button to achieve a secure WPS connection.
PIN: Enter an STA PIN on an ONT to achieve a secure WPS connection.
AP PIN: Entering a PIN generated by an ONT on an STA to achieve a secure WPS connection.

That's all for today's basic knowledge sharing.
