Hi,

For remote sites, can we backhaul WIFI network over microwave instead of traditional outdoor APs to cover the distance?

Hello, dear.
The transmission protocol used by Wifi is 802.11ay or 802.11b, which is not supported by microwave devices. And the microwave signal propagation cannot be received by cell phones.

Basically scenario is this:

WIFI AP transmits data to switch, switch sends data to microwave to transmit to far-end, at other point we have another microwave antenna to receive data and trasmit it to switch and switch sends it to WIFI Controller.
