HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

I bought and installed a WiFi 6+ (AX3 Pro) router at my home.

I planned to use it as a WiFi repeater/range extender and it worked fine for about six months.

It is connected to the main optical fiber modem/router (this router supports both wired and WiFi connections) by Ethernet cable, and it is configured to work as an access point on two WiFi networks (2.4G and 5G) with the same credentials (SSID, password) as the main router does. The main router give IP adresses (on DHCP) starting 192.168.1.x and the WiFi 6+ does it in the segment 192.168.3.x.

My laptop (Dell Latitude 7420) is connected with wired connection to the WiFi 6+ router (by default, but the WiFi connection is also configured and it jumps in when Ethernet cable is disconnected). Ethernet cable connects to the laptop through port extender (USB-C to Ethernet and others). There are two port extenders - Dell USB-C Mobile Adaptor DA300u, and I also tried BliTZWOLF BW-TH8, each one has an RJ-45 port, and I also connected them in series to one another (Dell first and BliTZWOLF after it).

Some other special Ethernet devices are also connected to WiFi 6+ with Ethernet cables, and laptop saw these devices with no problems.

One month ago I started to experiense problems with an access to some web-sites from my laptop, sites just became not accessible. And when I switched to the WiFi connection of the laptop to router (just by disconnecting the Ethernet cable from the laptop), it worked well. It looks like the router started to apply some rules to the web access  from the laptop.

Firmware is up to date, firewall into the router is turned off.

When I installed a simple (not managed) Ethernet hub between the main optical modem/router and my laptop, and connected other devices to this hub, and disconnected the WiFi 6+ at all, everything works fine with no any access problems.

So, now it looks to me as a clearly WiFi 6+ router problem.

What is the problem with WiFi 6+? Can it enforce any access policy or rules to its clients on the network? If yes, how to disable this in setup?

Thank you

Hello, friend!

Huawei AX3 Pro is a consumer device.

Based on your problem description, I can't accurately locate it. I've never heard of this configuration.

Can you log in to the WebUI of the device to collect route debugging logs? Screens for operations related to PC failure display.

Thanks!
