PROBLEMS WIRELESS NETWORK USERS FACE
Wireless networks face many challenges in many areas. For example:
in the education field, the new technology in classrooms like Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) or 4K/8K video conferencing encounter problems like poor speed, freezing and even interruptions;
in the business field, bad coverage in shopping malls, supermarkets and smart campuses creates a barrier between what customers want and what they get;
outdoor public network service scenarios, such as plazas and streets encounter coverage issues and limitations in the number of users connected simultaneously; also, the high tolerance in the delay obstacles acquiring (on-time services) and deployment of public new technologies like IoT.

The idea of starting using OFDMA to utilize the available spectrum more efficiently, while managing the interference, makes WiFi 6 able to enhance the performance in dense environments with high numbers of users, like public venues.
Complemented by multi-user MU-MIMO, it helps WiFi 6 to pack more data into the same air space.
Wi-Fi 6 also adds a significant improvement by supporting up to 8 spatial streams (16 in Huawei AirEngine Wi-Fi 6) that enables more users to connect to APs simultaneously, while still providing high throughput.

WiFi 6 high data rate (up to 10.75 Gbps air-interface data rate) needs a robust modulation mode. 1024-QAM is excellent for short distances, but to cope with distance and outdoor difficulties, WiFi 6 adds the HE-xSU PPDU data frame format.
Keeping devices always connected requires long life battery. WiFi 6 adds Target Wait Time (TWT), which helps to reduce the power consumption and preserve battery life.

Beside the standards of WiFi 6, Huawei play a key role in the development of the WiFi 6 standard and protocol.
For example, Huawei Smart Radio Lossless Roaming reduces the roaming switchover latency of mobile terminals to as low as 10ms, ensuring uninterrupted voice calls and video conferencing. And to overcome the convergence issue, Huawei Smart Antenna, with 20% wider coverage distance, provides full network coverage with zero coverage holes.
