Wi-Fi Connected But No Internet Access on HG8245Q2

This post is about an issue related to Wi-Fi connection, but no internet access on HG8245Q2. Please see below for more details.


Huawei HG8245Q2


ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Can anybody help me? All of a sudden, I cannot connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. I can connect to the router wirelessly, but no internet access. I can still access the router GUI via wireless and I can connect to the internet fine via the wired connection, but not via WiFi. So Wi-Fi connected, but no internet access on HG8245Q2.


HG8245Q2 Symptoms

Light indicators:


  • POWER: Steady green;


  • PON: Steady green;


  • LAN: Blinking green;


  • WLAN: Blinking green.


POSSIBLE SOLUTION

Troubleshooting I have tried so far:


  • Power Cycle;


  • Turned on and off the side WiFi button;


  • Changed SSID and PW;


  • Reset the router to the default configuration using  the side button;


  • Reset the router to the default config using GUI.


Still no resolution. Please help.

As with any networking issues, there are 2 places to look at first: the networking equipment (router) and the device having the issue (computer, smartphone, tablet etc.). As a first step, restart your networking equipment and device and see if that fixes the problem. As with the router, network, wifi, and software problems often get fixed automatically with a simple restart. If it doesn't help you, then go to the following section.

    Check Modem Lights
    Flush your DNS
    Change your DNS server address
    IP address conflict
    Outdated network driver
    Check your ISP's status

Hello anyone here can help me its been a week now that i cant used my wifi i cant access any links using internet or any apps using internet my huawei modem router HG8245H5
Power button: green light steady
PON:green light but keeps blinking twice
LOS: NO light
Tel1: green light blinking slowly
WLAN: green light
I think the problem here is the PON was blinking i read about the status of this and the description said that setting up a connection .
I will attach all photos here. Service provider feedback from them wifi connection is okay to them thats why no action doin to fixed our wifi but here in my house on my own modem is not okay . So stressful to think how to fixed this .
