These are the first few questions that arise when we are talking about cloud computing.

In my opinion cloud computing is the future, it is going to change the norms of modern technology.

In general terms, cloud computing is providing hosted services over the internet.

The national institute of standards and technology(NIST) defines cloud computing as follows:

"Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction."

In simple words cloud computing refers to computing services provided by a sufficiently powerful computer capable of providing a range of functionalities, resources and storage. Put together, cloud computing can be understood as the delivery of on-demand, measurable services over the internet.

We can differentiate cloud computing into 3 general types, Private Cloud, Public Cloud and Hybrid Cloud.

Private Cloud:
In private cloud, resources of cloud are exclusive for one organization only, It can either be located at organization's on-ste data center or it may be hosted at service provider's location. But in private cloud, every service and hardware solely belongs to that specific organization. This way it is considered more secure and private.

Public Cloud:
Public cloud is the common way of utilizing a cloud infrastructure. Resources are owned and operated by a thrid party like a service provider, and delivered over the internet. These resources are shared by different organizations. This way it is a cost friendly solution.

Hybrid Cloud:
Hybrid cloud combines private cloud and public cloud to offer both services at a time. With orchestration(google this term) among different platforms like on-premises cloud, private cloud and public cloud, it offers its services according to the needs of an organization. So organizations have more control, they can maintain a private infrastructure for security and use public infrastructure for cost effective solutions."

I agree that it is necessary to introduce the issue in education systems and in those not understood, but that we work in the sector and above all, decision makers.
