Hi there!

This time, I will share with you a case about the TN52XCH board cannot be added on OptiX OSN 8800 T32.

Problem Description

The customer wants to add a TN52XCH cross-connect board on OptiX OSN 8800 T32 enhanced subrack, but the NMS reports an error, and the screenshot is as follows:

Handling Process

1. Check and confirm the equipment type and version, the result is normal.

2. Check the NMS type and version, the result is normal.

3. Check the error notice, and confirm with the product document that with the XCH cross-connnection board each slot max support only 40G.

But currently, the board inserted needs 100G!

Solution

Change to high capacity cross-connection board, such as UXCH/UXCM.
