We are evaluating which ONT models acquire for an ISP that will
start operating with an MA5800 chassis.
Both
on the official website of Huawei, as in the different sales channels,
the number of models and subnumerations of the same model is very
confusing.
For example, the most basic of the ONT has several apparently
equivalent models: HG8010, HG8010H, HG8310M, EG8010H ...
In the Huawei site, depending on which region / language you enter, you
can see comparative tables of lines EGxxxx or HGxxxx. Without
finding a clear documentation if EG is an evolution of HG or simply a
rename according to the comercial region of the ONT.

if you can provide any doc that specifies the current models or explain
these re-enumerations of seemingly identical hardware.
Why so many models of ONT? What are the current ones? What EOL?
