before upgrade ne software ,script file must be run and get precheck report
for diffrent version software /diffrent equipment .the script file is diffrent
Prerequisites
- The task must be in running state and the pre-check must be complete.
- The selected NE(s) must support this function.
- We recommended you should be a user with "NE Software Management Maintainer" authority or higher.
Context
- The items in the pre-check report are according to the check items as configured when the task is created.
- The pre-check report can be saved, and you can choose to view only the check items that have failed.
- In the pre-check report, you can view the display information of a task performed for an NE. For details, see Viewing Display Information.
- This function is applicable only to certain of Switch.
Procedure
- Choose (traditional style) from the main menu or select Fix-Network NE Software Management in Application Center and choose (application style) from the main menu.
- Click
to expand the
task nodes. Right-click one or more NEs under the task
node, and then choose
NOTE: For the Access NE of the MA series, you can also select the desired task, and choose the to view the report of all the NEs on the task.
- Optional: Select the View failed
check items check box to view only the
failed check items if required.
NOTE: Select the View all check items check box to view all the check items.
- Optional: Click View behind the check item to view the display information of the task as required.
- Optional: Click Save As to save the check report as required.
- After viewing the check items, click Close.
