Hello, guys, I encountered a new issue, I was using the FusionCompute as trial in my department. However the OS disk only has a small space, so I had to add a new 1TB disk into my server, but FusionCompute portal can't scan the new disk after I inserted it into the physical disk.

In the background, I can see the disk has been recognized, but why FusionCompute portal can't see the new disk?

Hello, Sir!

According to your description, we noted there were some residual partitions on your new physical disk.

In order to prevent erasing some important data on the newly inserted physical disk by mistake, our virtualization platform would not format it automatically. So you have to remove these historic partitions manually after you have backed up the related data from this Hgst disk. After it's been done, you can try to re-scan the newly inserted disk.

If the issue still exists, kindly send me a message here.

Hi, sir, perhaps you need to restart some service to make the application layer to recognize the new disk, you can try to reboot this CNA, then inspect the issue still exist.
