Hello all,

The STP function can automatically detect and identify loops to avoid broadcast storms. Why should the STP function be disabled?

Can someone explain? Thanks.

Hi Phany,

After the STP function is enabled in E9000, the host may fail to obtain an IP address through the DHCP server when the network is started, and eventually, the timeout causes the network startup skips. It is recommended to disable it.

Hope this can help you.
