Why Does Loading Software Package Fail?

The U2000 is used to load the target NE software package. Before the upgrade task starts, the NE software package loading state is NORMAL for all NEs to be upgraded. After the upgrade task starts, the pre-check and backup operations are successfully performed. However, the U2000 displays that the NE states are ABNORMAL in the progress of loading the system software package. As a result, the upgrade task fails.

The following describes the possible causes and the corresponding handling methods:
1. The MPU CF cards of the NEs have insufficient free space.
Handling method: Delete unneeded files in the CF cards.
2. The FTP server has been incorrectly configured or has not started.
Handling method: Verify that the FTP service is available.
3. The system software package being loaded has the same name as that running on the NEs.
4. Handling method: Ensure that the system software package to be loaded has a name different from that running on the NEs.
