The wavelength of an optical module's transmit signals fluctuates around its center wavelength. If optical modules have a long wavelength scope, the wavelengths of optical modules with different center wavelengths may overlap. In this case, interfaces on the optical modules become Up.

The center wavelengths of the connected optical modules must be the same. Otherwise, packets will be incorrectly exchanged between the optical modules.
