why can not upload files to the ar1220?

Hello team!

since the firmware version is too old, so we want to upgrade it, but after we download the firmware from the support web site, and upload the files to the router, here we encounter the problems, we can not upload the files, it always timeout when connect to the router, but we do really can ping the router, and the router is running fine. how to check this problem?

Please check it via the command display ftp-server. If the ftp-server is not enabled yet, then the Info: The FTP server is already disabled will be displayed.


If the FTP server has been enabled already, information such as below will be displayed:

[Huawei]display ftp-server
   FTP server is running         
   Max user number                 5
   User count                      0
   Timeout value(in minute)        30
   Listening port                  21
   Acl number                      0

   FTP server's source address     x.x.x.x
