Which slots are used for IP scale-out?

Hello, Storage team!

On each OceanStor V5 storage system, which slots are uses for IP scale-out? Can the slots be used for front-end and back-end interface cards?

Can you help me?

In integrated 2 U enclosures (for the OceanStor 5300/5500/5300F/5500F V5 and 5500 V5 Elite), IOM1 is used for IP scale-out.

In separated 3 U (for the OceanStor 5600/5600F/5800/5800F V5) and 6 U (for the OceanStor 6800/6800F V5) enclosures, IOM3 is used for IP scale-out.

IP scale-out is performed through SmartIO cards. These slots can also be used for host interface cards or back-end interface cards.
