Hello,

The S9300 (V200R010C00SPC600) has four 800 W power modules. Will removing one of the power modules affect the running of the S9300?

Check the power supply information on the device.

display power system

The total power is :1600.0(W)

The used power is :830.0(W)

The remain power is :770.0(W)

The system used power detail information :

PWR4 YES AC Supply 2.1200 53.5100 113.4000

The command output shows that the power used by the switch exceeds the power of one of the power modules.

Does anyone know? Thanks.

Hello,

The power modules of the chassis are located in areas A and B. The two areas back up each other. The two power modules in the same area work in load balancing mode. If the power module is removed, the power supplied to one area is reduced by 800 W. The total power can obtain a maximum of 1600 W from areas A and B. Therefore, the system can still work properly. You are advised to apply for a time window to avoid other exceptions.

Glad to help you! Any further questions, let us know.
