Today I would like to share with you when the UA5000 is used as the RSP frame and hung under FA16 (PV8-10 frame), the host is not patched, the hardware configuration online setting adds the RSP board, and the configuration slave node is 255, it will prompt data.
Problem Description
UA5000 is connected to FA16 (PV8-10 frame) under the RSP frame, connected by E1, PV8-10 frame main control board is PV8, UA5000 virtual is RSP-19 frame, main control board is VRSP board, network management is BAM, version It is HV20A005-C005-20010319. PV8-10 frame is already running equipment, create a new UA5000 frame, use hardware configuration online settings on the network management, add RSP board, single board number is 0, master node is 6, slave node is set to 255, PCM group number is 8. Click Submit, and the host returns to indicate that the data configuration is incorrect.
Process
1. Check the service configuration method of "HONET High-density UA5000 H601PVM Support VRSP Feature Deployment Guide". The RSP configuration is as follows: the board number is 0, the master node is 6, the slave node is set to 255, the PCM group number is 8, and the data is correct.
2. Compared with the data of the old RSP box, it is found that the slave nodes of the RSP are 16 and 17. The analysis may be that the PV8 main control board does not support the RSP board slave node to be set to 255. Check the "FA16-E Equipment Deployment Guide", the host must be loaded with C12 and above host patches, it is recommended to use the F11 host patch, and the network management recommends using the P40 network management patch.
3. After the host loads the F11 patch and the network manager loads the P40 patch, the data is set normally
Root cause
When the host checks that the set RSP board slave node is 255, it is considered to be illegal data
Conclusions
When using UA5000 as the virtual RSP frame, both the host and network management need to load the patch
