In the network as shown in the figure, all switches run the RSTP protocol.
If the E1 interface of the SWB fails, the RSTP process is:

1. SWB deletes the port entry of the MAC address table with E1 as the destination port.
2. Recalculate the spanning tree and elect E2 as the new root port.
3. Send a Topology Change Notification to all non-edge forwarding ports to notify other switch networks of topology changes.
