When a participant is broadcasted on the SMC1.0, the participant image does not change

This topic describes how to configure SMC so that the participant image does not image when a participant is broadcasted on the SMC1.0.

Requirement 

The SMC1.0 controls participants. When participant A is broadcasted, all participants view participant A (including participant A). However, the customer requires that participant A still view the previous video when participant A is broadcasted.

Solution

1.Find the RMCC.ini file in the following path on the server where the SMC1.0 is installed

   C:\Program Files\Huawei Technologies.,Ltd\SMC\ResourceManager

2. Open the RMCC.ini file using notepad.

3. Find the SpecBrdLookType parameter in the file.

4. Change the value of SpecBrdLookType to 1.

5. Restart the following services:

   ResourceManager; SwitchCentre; SwitchManager

6. Ensure that all services are enabled and then using the SMC1.0 to schedule conferences. The customer's requirements are met during conference control.
