Whatsapp not work with AP5030 FAT FIRMWARE

Goodmorning everyone,
I introduce myself,my name is Andrea and I wanted to ask you for help.
I installed an ap5030dn with fat firmware,everything works except Whatsapp!
does anyone have ideas?

The most likely reason is that the network or call/voice permission is not enabled for the app on your mobile phone.
If you find that the same problem occurs on several mobile phones, the possible cause is that security configurations are performed on the AP, for example, UDP access is prohibited. You need to check the AP configuration, or you can share your AP configuration so that we can help you check it.

the ip and dns are correct and come out on the internet, but Whatsapp does not send and receive messages.
I have tried also with my phone and on AP of other brands it works correctly.

the firewall is not the problem, same settings different access point works

Hi Andrea,
You can open the network settings of the phone and check whether the IP address and DNS address are correctly obtained. Then try to use another app to access the network. If everything is normal, the problem may be caused by the app itself.

Hi,

Have you tried any other app and they are working? Problem may be with the ISP and their policies for social network sites.

Have you tried using VPN and then running WhatsApp? It would clear the ISP end.

For Egypt, I know. If you have to use WhatsApp call feature, you'll have to use VPN. Without it, WhatsApp calling will not work as it is being blocked at ISP end.
