When the storage system runs a file system and shares the file system with clients through CIFS, third-party antivirus software can be used to trigger virus scanning and delete virus-infected files, improving storage system security, the following points should be considered in case of issues with the configuration.
Verify:
- CIFS service of the storage system has been enabled.
- OceanStor 5500 V3 firmware V300R006C00 or above.
- Scanning Mode: Shareopen.
- Antivirus Agent installed.
- In the firewall environment, the port for starting the antivirus agent has been enabled.
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise or above.
- Trend Micro ServerProtect 5.8 or above.
- Trend Micro ServerProtect process SpntSvc.exe running.
The hardware configuration for the Antivirus Server:
- CPU: Intel Xeon CPU E5530@2.4 GHz (2 processors) or above.
- Memory: 4 GB or above.
- Disk capacity: 40 GB or above.
Finally if there are still issues to run the service in the Storage it will be necessary to reset the pre-shared key.
With these points the antivirus process should work and a screen like the following will be shown.
