Method 1: Stopping Unnecessary Processes
- On the desktop, open Task Manager. The following figure shows the Task Manager window.

- View the processes that consume massive CPU and memory resources.
- Save user documents.
- Stop the processes that consume massive CPU and memory resources.

Method 2: Restarting the Desktop
- Save user documents.

Data that is not saved may be lost after the desktops are forcibly restarted. Therefore, exercise caution when forcibly restarting desktops.

- On the login page that is displayed, enter the user domain account and password.
