Hello, dear!
Have a nice day!
The performance of Thin LUN is lower than that of Thick LUN. For full coverage write, the performance is 20% lower at most. For write for the first time, the performance of random small I/Os for thin LUN will be lower than that for thick LUN by within 20%. For sequential large I/Os, the performance deteriorates by about 40% to 50%. In general, the overall performance deteriorates by 20%. You are advised to use thin LUNs for random small I/Os with more reads and fewer writes.
