Hello, friend!

I have seen similar fault cases of the HG8245.

A Wi-Fi terminal sends a large number of mDNS multicast packets within a short period of time, occupying most ONT resources. Insufficient ONT resources affect user services and cause ONT reset.

As I am not clear about your business and network topology, the solution to this problem is as follows:

1. As the HG8245 has reached EOS on the live network, it is recommended that the ONT be replaced with the HG8245H.

2. Check the service terminal, find the trigger source (terminal or terminal application) that causes the abnormal ONT reset, and stop the trigger source to access the ONT.

Thanks!

Hello, friend!

Based on the information you provided, I can't locate the fault.
