In a stack system, if only one switch's ESN is used to apply for a license, the license takes effect for the entire stack system after being activated. If the stack system splits, the switch whose ESN is used for license application is not affected, but licensed features become invalid on the other switches in the stack system. To prevent this problem, you are advised to apply for a license for all the switches in the stack system.
