The Huawei Visual Schedule Desktop (VSD) is a platform that connects to the Huawei Service Management Center 2.0 (SMC2.0) for video surveillance resource management and collaborative conferencing between videoconferencing and video surveillance systems.

The VSD provides a unified UI for managing the videoconferencing and video surveillance systems. With the following features, the VSD accelerates remote decision-making and improves communication efficiency.

Supports two operation modes:

  • Touch panel-assisted operations

  • Keyboard-assisted operations

Supports two methods of initiating conferences:

  • Instant conferencing

  • Conference plan-based conferencing

Supports basic conference control functions:

  • Add and delete participants.

  • Call, broadcast and disconnect participants.

  • Mute and unmute microphones or speakers.

  • Switch the continuous presence mode.

  • Supports PTZ controls over surveillance cameras.
