Dear,
VADP is the next-generation Vmvare data protection framework introduced in vSphere 4.0, allowing backup products to centrally, efficiently, off-host and LAN-free backup of vSphere virtual machines.

Mware VADP is a VMware vStorage API that backs up and restores vSphere virtual machines (VMs). VADP was introduced in vSphere 4 and replaces the VMware Consolidated Backup (VCB) framework.

VADP backs up vSphere VMs from a central backup server or VM without backup agents, and does not require backup processing to be done inside each guest VM on the ESX host. This offloads backup processing from ESX hosts and allows each ESX host to run more VMs.

VMware vSphere Storage APIs for Data Protection (VADP) is the next generation of VMware's data protection framework originally introduced in vSphere 4.0 that enables backup products to do centralized, efficient, off-host LAN free backup of vSphere virtual machines. VADP supports full and incremental, VM-level and file-level back and restore. For incremental backup, Changed Block Tracking (CBT) is used to improve back efficiency.
