Hello all,
Today we will share with you Huawei Vehicle to Everything Solution.
What is V2X?
Vehicle to Everything (V2X) is a vehicle-road collaboration technology that connects a vehicle to everything. V represents a vehicle, and X represents any object that exchanges information with a vehicle. Currently, X mainly includes vehicles, people, roadside infrastructure, and networks.
An information model of V2X interaction includes: vehicle to vehicle (Vehicle to Vehicle, V2V), vehicle to infrastructure (Vehicle to Infrastructure, V2I), vehicle to person (Vehicle to Pedestrian, V2P), and vehicle to network (Vehicle to Network). V2N interaction, as shown in the figure.

Autopilot Classification
1. Single-vehicle intelligent self-driving
2. Connected autonomous driving
High single-vehicle intelligent cost vs. V2X-based smart highway, reducing vehicle costs
The price of Google's entire set of sensors is high (the lidar exceeds $100,000), making it difficult to industrialization.

Limited intelligent environment awareness of bicycles VS V2X communication in all-weather, beyond-the-line-of-sight, and various emergencies
Baidu believes that the error rate of identifying traffic lights using cameras is high and wants to obtain traffic lights in V2X mode.
Single-vehicle intelligence lacks overall collaboration vs. V2X-based vehicle-vehicle collaboration, vehicle-road collaboration, and overall scheduling
1) Vehicle competition with different brands and algorithms;
2) Multi-vehicle competition for road resources (road combination, intersection, etc.);
3) Global scheduling and coordination, for example, eliminating the VSWR phenomenon;
Google revealed 11 accidents in six years: mostly rear-ended. In June 2015, two driverless cars, Google and Delphi, nearly collided.

V2X server
1) Basic connection management: implements 4.5G direct communication with RSUs, processes and forwards vehicle and roadside event information, and provides capabilities such as communication management, device management, and vehicle V2X data management.
2) Vehicle-road synergy: provides vehicle-road synergy services based on big data, such as last-mile automatic parking, formation driving, and dynamic speed limit.
3) Traffic management enablement: provides capabilities such as traffic monitoring, emergency decision-making suggestions, and road maintenance suggestions.

RSU: a roadside unit that uses 4.5G communications technology to implement low-latency direct communication between roadside facilities and vehicles.
Camera: detects traffic flow, headway, and emergencies.
Intelligent sensing node: V2X edge node. The convergent camera (or millimeter-wave radar) senses events, processes event information at the edge side, and pushes the information to the V2X server.
Electronic street signs and traffic lights: The RSU broadcasts the traffic information.
T-Box:
1) Vehicle-to-vehicle communication: The RSU reports location information and receives RSU broadcast information. 2) Vehicle-to-vehicle communication: Exchanges information with other vehicles through broadcast information.
Vehicle-road synergy UI: The vehicle LCD dashboard (or external pad) receives V2X messages forwarded by the T-Box and displays alarms.
Autopilot: The Autopilot receives and parses V2X accident warning messages forwarded by the T-Box.
Thank you.
