Hello,

Someone please kindly provide the standard channel configuration for the IPC 6000 Series cameras for day and night time.

Because some of the functions are suitable only during day time and some only during night time.

Thanks.

Hello,

Please find below the configuration chapter from the IPC6000 Series V200R003 Product documentation

Configuration Guide

Logging In to a Device
This topic describes how to log in to a camera using a web browser and introduces the camera web pages.
Configuring Video Preview
By configuring video preview, you can perform operations related to video preview, including configuring pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and setting the IPC IP address, time, common image parameters, common video stream parameters, and on-screen display (OSD) parameters.
License Plate Recognition Configuration (only available for China Region)
Configuring Image Optimization
This section describes how to set image-related parameters, including image parameters, image profiles, and profile plans.
Configuring Interconnection with Video Surveillance Platforms
Huawei IPCs can connect to video surveillance platforms through the SDK, GB/T 28181, ONVIF, or GENETEC protocol. Different parameters must be set if a Huawei IPC needs to connect to a video surveillance platform through different protocols. After the interconnection succeeds, you can perform operations on the IPC on the video surveillance platform, for example, viewing live video from the IPC, setting IPC parameters, and controlling the IPC.
Configuring Video Recording
This section describes how to query, download, and delete recordings, configuring recording plans, and play back recordings.
Configuring the Snapshot
You can set the SD card space for storing snapshots, snapshot format, and snapshot interval.
Configuring Video
This section describes how to set video, audio, and image parameters.
Setting Network Parameters
This section describes how to set network parameters, such as IP filter parameters, and bandwidth adaptive parameters.
Setting PTZ Control Parameters
This section describes how to set pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) parameters, including serial port, preset position, and tour track parameters.
Setting Intelligent Analysis Parameters
This section describes how to set behavior analysis parameters and lens block detection, audio exception intelligent analysis.
Configuring Alarm Linkage
This section describes the procedure for configuring alarm linkage, including enabling devices, setting alarm input and output parameters, configuring a surveillance deployment plan, and setting an alarm linkage policy.
Managing the System
This section describes how to configure system operations.
Device Maintenance
This section describes how to query logs, reset devices, and restart devices.
Troubleshooting
This section describes the most common faults, possible causes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Setting Image Parameters

By setting image parameters, you can adjust video images to adapt to different surveillance scenarios.

icon-notice.gif NOTICE:
Image parameters are associated with each other. Set the image parameters strictly based on the site requirements to prevent poor image quality or overexposure.

Procedure

  1. Choose Settings > Video/Audio/Image > Image Parameters.

The Image Parameters page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

Parameter

Description

Brightness

Indicates an attribute of visual perception in which a source appears to be radiating or reflecting light.

Hue

Indicates the degree to which a stimulus can be described as similar to or different from stimuli that are described as red, green, blue, and yellow.

Saturation

Indicates the colorfulness of a color relative to its own brightness.

Contrast

Indicates the ratio of black and white colors in an image.
  • Increasing the contrast improves the image clarity and color brightness.
  • Decreasing the contrast dims the entire image.

Sharpness
