Configuration Guide

Logging In to a Device: This topic describes how to log in to a camera using a web browser and introduces the camera web pages.

Configuring Video Preview: By configuring video preview, you can perform operations related to video preview, including configuring pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and setting the IPC IP address, time, common image parameters, common video stream parameters, and on-screen display (OSD) parameters.

License Plate Recognition Configuration (only available for China Region)

Configuring Image Optimization: This section describes how to set image-related parameters, including image parameters, image profiles, and profile plans.

Configuring Interconnection with Video Surveillance Platforms: Huawei IPCs can connect to video surveillance platforms through the SDK, GB/T 28181, ONVIF, or GENETEC protocol. Different parameters must be set if a Huawei IPC needs to connect to a video surveillance platform through different protocols. After the interconnection succeeds, you can perform operations on the IPC on the video surveillance platform, for example, viewing live video from the IPC, setting IPC parameters, and controlling the IPC.

Configuring Video Recording: This section describes how to query, download, and delete recordings, configuring recording plans, and play back recordings.

Configuring the Snapshot: You can set the SD card space for storing snapshots, snapshot format, and snapshot interval.

Setting Image Parameters

By setting image parameters, you can adjust video images to adapt to different surveillance scenarios.

NOTICE:

Image parameters are associated with each other. Set the image parameters strictly based on the site requirements to prevent poor image quality or overexposure.

Procedure

Choose Settings > Video/Audio/Image > Image Parameters.
The Image Parameters page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

Image Adjustment

Parameter	Description
Brightness	Indicates an attribute of visual perception in which a source appears to be radiating or reflecting light.
Hue	Indicates the degree to which a stimulus can be described as similar to or different from stimuli that are described as red, green, blue, and yellow.
Saturation	Indicates the colorfulness of a color relative to its own brightness.
Contrast	Indicates the ratio of black and white colors in an image. Increasing the contrast improves the image clarity and color brightness. Decreasing the contrast dims the entire image.
Sharpness	Sharpness reflects the image clarity and edge sharpness.

Thanks bro, now I already configure around 110 cameras. I mean for the channel configuration (like WDR, backlist.,etc)
