What is the role of the RAID card?

Does a storage server have only one RAID card? What is the specific role? If the RAID card is damaged, what failure will happen to the disk group?

Storage use redundant controllers and configurations are synced within both controllers if one controller fails in that case second controller takeover without any services impact later on faulty controller can be replaced with new one and same configurations will be synced from second controller.

Normally storage has many RAID card for store user data there. If RAID card is damaged, it will generate alarm with specific rack number/RAID name/RAID Type and other details message. It will not affect to service as system will use another RAID in disk group
