If the configurations of a peer and its peer group are different, the configuration of the peer takes effect. If the configurations of a peer and its peer group are the same, the peer inherits the configuration of its peer group.
When using the peer bfd command, note the following points: If a peer is enabled with BFD, the peer bfd command configuration on the peer takes effect, regardless of whether the peer group of the peer is enabled with BFD. If a peer group of a peer is enabled with BFD but the peer is not enabled with BFD, the peer inherits the configuration of the peer group.
