Hi Tadros,
Did you upload a license that allows you to increase the maximum users?
The documentation states the following:
Large Capacity
The VP9660 is a large-capacity MCU with universal transcoding capability. It provides multiple ports and allows for multi-channel cascading.
Multiple Ports
The basic model of the VP9660 is VP9660-8. You can expand the capacity.
- The basic model of the Huawei VP9660 provides four 1080p60 ports, eight 1080p30 ports, 16 720p30 ports, or 32 4CIF ports, as well as eight audio-only ports, with universal transcoding capability.
- The VP9660 supports smooth expansion through the purchase of port licenses or adding function extension modules. After expansion, it provides up to 96 1080p60 ports, 192 1080p30 ports, 384 720p30 ports, or 768 4CIF ports, as well as 192 audio-only ports, with universal transcoding capability.
- The VP9660 supports Internet Protocol (IP) and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) hybrid access with the maximum access bandwidth of 8 Mbit/s. A maximum of 64-port Primary Rate Interface (PRI) access and 256-port ISDN access are supported.
Multi-channel Cascading
With multi-channel cascading adopted, participants on an upper-level MCU are able to view participants on any lower-level MCUs, and all screen videos of a three-screen telepresence participant can be displayed to another telepresence participant. A maximum of five-level cascading is supported.
However remember that one port is not one enpoint, since one endpoint can use more than one port! You have video, presentation and audio.
The maximum number of ports is defined, how each uses them will change the number of maximum participants.
