Regarding the S5000 and S2600 storage systems, the LUN mapping license consumption includes the following two cases:

Mapping a LUN to a host group:

When LUN mappings are added to the same host group, the LUN mapping license consumption is independent of the number of added LUNs, and the LUN mapping quota decreases only by one.

Mapping a LUN to a host:

When LUN mappings are added to the same host, the LUN mapping license consumption is independent of the number of added LUNs, and the LUN mapping quota decreases only by one.

NOTE:
The license consumption by LUN mappings to a host group is independent of the license consumption by LUN mappings to the hosts in this host group. For example, if a LUN mapping is added to a host group and one more LUN mapping is added to a host in the host group (the host is not added with any LUN mapping before), then the LUN mapping quota decreases by two.
