I would like to share some information about DT
What is the DT ?
It is a technique used to check perfermance of network ,cells and quality of it .
What are types of GSM DT?
1-Single level DT
In this type we test on a small site unit called in telecom field "end Point site " or " end of chain site".
2-Cluster level DT
In this type we check a group of sites called cluster like highway roads sites
3-Market level DT
In this last type we test group of clusters called area market like city and it named bigest level DT
What is the GSM DT process ?
Single Site Verification Process
Preperation Work
- Prepare DT tools
-Define test meters
-Define parameters configuration
-confirm site status
Single Site Verification Phase
-Basic verification of site
-Antenna feeders verification.
-Call complete verification
-Rx level, Rx quality and HO
If all verification is OK then site pass DT and if NOT OK then to OPTIMIZATION and adjustemetn parameters then making DT again

-car -GPS -DT SW like TEMS KIT
Test Methods
Idle case: in this case record condition and parameters in IDLE state
Long Call case :in this case measure realibility and mobility of network
Short Call case :in this case measure accessibility and mobility of network.
Define Of Test Routes
-Urban Areas (300 m - 1 Km)
Cover roads & streets for local custmer travel .
-Sub-Urban Areas (1 km - 5 Km).
Cover long area like wide roads.
