What is the Exact Meaning of Net Data Rate and Line Rate

Hello, everyone!

-net data rate: The sum of net data rates over all latency paths.

-line rate: The data rate transmitted at the U-x reference point in any one direction. This is the total data rate plus trellis coding overhead.
