customer asked : what is the different between Precopy and Reconstruction process ?

Precopy process : 

when the storage system detects that a member disk in a RAID is about  to fail , data on that disk is copied onto a hotspare disk reducing risks of data loss.

we can use disk health detection tools to ***yze the health status of the disk during the operation of an array


Reconstruction proces :

it is a process of recovering user data and parity data on a failed disk in a RAID group onto a hot spare dis kof a RAID group
