What Is the Difference between HG8145V5 and EG8145V5

Hi there!


I found two ONT, HG8145V5 and EG8145V5 on the Internet.

I feel like they're all the same. What's the difference between them?

Their differences are as follows:

1. The HG8145V5 is used for carrier networks, and the EG8145V5 is used for enterprise networks.

2. The default user name and password are different.

3. Different optical ports: HG8145v5 supports SC/UPC and SC/APC, and EG8145v5 supports only SC/APC.

4. They have different energy-saving functions. The HG8145v5 does not support the COC V5 function, but the EG8145v5 supports only the COC V5 function.
