HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello.

When I set the FEC attributes of the ND2 board, there are two types: FEC and AFEC.

FEC

I want to know the difference. How do I set it? Thank you!

Dear friend!
AFEC (Advanced Forward Error Correction). The implementation of AFEC gives high quality transmission and longer haul transmission without any electrical regenerator than FEC.
The boards with different FEC mode cannot interconnect with each other. For example, the FEC mode of the LSX is FEC by default, but it can also be set to AFEC. Though the rates of the two FEC mode are the same, the boards with different FEC mode still cannot interconnect due to the difference in FEC mode. Therefore, ensure that the FEC types of the upstream and downstream boards are the same.

Thanks!

Hello friend! hope it can help:

AFEC is an enhanced forward error correction function, but FEC is a standard error correction function. The frame structures of the two functions are different and therefore cannot be interconnected.

Thanks!
