RTN 950 support 2.5G backplane capacity each slot at most. but configuration need to be done for 2.5G(defaulty 1Gbps). the backplane capacity is not only related to SCC board, but related to each kind of board.

1. Fot each board backplane capacity, please check in product document, for example EG4/EG4P(Description->IDU Hardware description->boards->EG4/EG4P->Functions and Feathers->Backplane bus bandwidth):
•1 Gbit/s when an EG4/EG4P board works with an SL91CSH board
•2.5 Gbit/s when an EG4/EG4P board works with an SL92CSH/CSHU/CSHUA board

2. If the board and SCC board support 2.5Gbps, you need to do configuration too
please read product document for detail: Reference->Network Management->Configuring the Backplane Bus Rate

Procedure:
1.In the NE Explorer, select the desired NE from the Object Tree and then choose Configuration > NE Properties from the Function Tree.
2.On the Advance Properties tab page, set the backplane bus rate in Backplane Bus Mode.

Backplane capacity is depending on the slots capacity of the RTN. Every slot got its own backplane which located at the back of the casing.

Backplane capacity for RTN 950 is fixed at 2.5 Gbps if we use CSHU/CSHUA as the system control, timing, and switching board. However this value is configurable (up to maximum value of 2.5Gbps) if we use SL92CSH boards as system control, timing, and switching boards.

The OptiX RTN 950 is large-capacity IP radio equipment. The OptiX RTN 950 has a built-in packet switching platform with the switching capacity of 10 Gbit/s.

The OptiX RTN 950 is a high-capacity device. The OptiX RTN 950 has a built-in packet switching platform with the switching capacity of 120Gbit/s (with CSHUF), 10 Gbit/s (with CST/CSH/CSHU/CSHUA).

As per manual, RTN950 supports 8 directions. But RTN950A supports 10 directions. How it is getting calculated as no of Slots are same(Total-6).
Is it related to Backplane capacity ?
